Job Summary •
MUST HAVE PRIOR CONCRETE BATCHING EXPERIENCE
•We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Batch Plant Operator to join our production team. In this vital role, you will oversee the operation of concrete batching plants, ensuring the precise mixing and delivery of high-quality concrete products. Your expertise will help maintain efficient production workflows, uphold safety standards, and support the overall success of our construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment, mechanical systems, and producing ready mixed concrete in in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Operate and monitor concrete batching equipment, including mixers and feeders, to produce consistent concrete mixes according to project specifications. Manage raw material inventory, including cement, aggregates, and additives, ensuring proper storage and timely replenishment. Conduct routine inspections of plant machinery such as conveyors, mixers, and silos to identify maintenance needs or potential safety hazards. Use forklifts and other heavy equipment safely to load raw materials and move finished products within the plant area. Maintain accurate records of batch processes, material usage, and production logs for quality control and reporting purposes. Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, concrete forming, welding, and general manufacturing procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Experience Prior experience operating heavy machinery such as loaders, concrete mixers, or other construction equipment is highly preferred. Knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication techniques, and basic welding is advantageous. Experience working in producing concrete and other construction materials is beneficial. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly is essential for success in this role.
Pay:
$24.84 - $29.91 per hour
