Job Description

About Us:
Steam Team is a growing fire and water restoration company dedicated to helping property owners recover from disasters. We specialize in fire & water mitigation, mold remediation, and structural drying. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team at any skill level, from entry-level Mitigation Technicians to experienced Crew Chiefs .
Positions Available:
Mitigation Technician 1 (Entry-Level): No experience required—training provided! Mitigation Technician 2: 6+ months of experience and WRT certification required. Crew Chief 1: 1+ year of experience with leadership responsibilities and certifications. Crew Chief 2: 2+ years of experience managing large-scale mitigation jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform fire & water mitigation, mold remediation, and demolition work. Set up, operate, and monitor drying equipment and truck mount extraction equipment. Document job progress with notes, moisture readings, and photos. Communicate with customers professionally and explain services. Follow IICRC industry standards for mitigation and restoration. Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites. Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response services (required).
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license required Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks. Strong teamwork, reliability, and problem-solving skills. Industry certifications (WRT, TCST, FSRT, AMRT) required for advanced roles (company may cover training for the right candidates). Previous experience in mitigation, construction, or restoration (required for higher-level positions).

Schedule:
