Job Description

SUMMARY:
Handles the safe loading/unloading and storage of cement, typically from railcars into silos and trucks. Operation of heavy machinery, managing automated loading systems, monitoring inventory, performing scheduled maintenance, while ensuring strict adherence to safety and environmental protocols.
CORE RESPONSIBILITY
Loading/Unloading- Safely transfer bulk cement from railcars to storage silos and load bulk trucks. System Operation-Use automated computer driven systems to monitor inventory levels, control product flow and generate billing records. Maintenance and Housekeeping-Perform routine maintenance on equipment, (conveyors, dust collectors) and ensure the terminal is clean and orderly. Safety Compliance-Adhere to all federal, state and company safety rules, including wearing PPE, performing site inspections and managing environmental risks. Mobile Equipment-Operation of man lifts, railcar movers and handheld equipment.
EXPERIENCE
: Mechanical Aptitude Previous Experience in bulk loading preferred Ability to lift 50 lbs. Work in elevated and confined spaces Basic Computer skills Ability to work with pneumatic and electrical tools Willingness to work in varied weather conditions Ability to work rotational shifts
ENVIRONMENTAL/PHYSICAL
: Work outdoors in dynamic temperatures (38F-115F) and in dynamic work sites (wet and muddy - hot and dusty) Be exposed to dust and construction related environments Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion

: Full-time, early mornings, weekends or on call hours Hourly (TBD) (Based on Experience)) •
