Job Description

Job Description The Boeing Company is seeking Power Plant Operators to join our team in Renton, WA. This role involves operating and maintaining power plant equipment and systems to ensure efficient and safe operations. As a Power Plant Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the operation of power generation equipment, including turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems. You will also perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Monitoring power plant operations and equipment performance. Performing routine maintenance and repairs on power generation equipment. Responding to alarms and abnormal conditions to ensure safety and reliability. Maintaining accurate records of operations and maintenance activities. Collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams to improve plant efficiency.
Qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in power plant operations or a related field. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively. Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
