Typical tasks include:
+ Maintain empty drum recycling process + Forklift operation + Chemical off-loads + Preventative maintenance and servicing duties + Restock supplies + Perform tasks as "Parts Runner" + Change filters, lubrication of equipment + Change out chemical containers + Support Facility Plant Operator activities such as gathering, analyzing and recording indicator readings + Perform duties as member of the Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) / Emergency Response Team (ERT) + Other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- + Able to learn to operate a forklift + Experience in performing duties in an industrial facility + Ability to read and comprehend work instructions + Excellent communication and teamwork skills + Demonstrated ability to work without constant direct supervision + Must have a high degree of integrity and self-motivation + Ability to professionally interact with personnel inside and outside the department + Must possess the ability to quickly adapt to emergency situations, changing schedules, and priorities + Strong organizational skills + Background screens are conducted for these positions •

- + Basic computer skills + Prior experience operating a forklift
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT
- A requirement for this position is that you must maintain status as a Hazmat team member, this includes meeting and maintaining the physical and training requirements for certification. Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Will work with drums weighing up to 600 pounds on occasion. Must be able to read the information and identify the colors located on labels and placards.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Facility Utilities work both indoors and outdoors in all extremes of weather.
