Job Description
Red Flint Sand and Gravel is seeking motivated, hard working, and mechanically skilled operators to grow their careers with our team. At Red Flint, we produce precise, tightly graded, highly uniform blends of sand and gravel that are utilized in a wide range of industries from water filtration, to medical grade epoxy flooring. We are a union contracted operation through IUOE 139 and offer great benefits and competitive pay for our employees. We are under the Mining Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) jurisdiction and all non-experienced miners taking on a Plant Operator role must undergo New Miner Training as part of their job orientation. We are seeking operators who are capable of or willing to learn the following tasks: Operate Sand Dryers Operate Sand & Gravel Bagging Equipment Run Quality Tests Adhere to all MSHA and Company Safety Guidelines Lift up to 100 lbs on a repetitive basis Follow written and verbal instruction Exemplify excellent attention to detail Change Bearings, Belts, Grease Lines, Rollers Perform Mobile and Stationary Equipment Maintenance Comfortable working outside year round in Heat/Cold Welding or advanced mechanical skills preferred!!
