Radiology Tech Scott Ortho (Full Time) - 7151

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a full time Radiology Tech at our Scott Orthopedic location. The primary purpose is to perform radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibilities for designated areas or procedures as required.

EDUCATION

Bachelor degree preferred. Graduate of accredited AMA program/s for radiologic technology. Holder of a valid and current; 1. Registration by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and; 2. Licensed as required by the State of West Virginia.

EXPERIENCE

Previous work experience as Staff Radiologic Technologist desired but not absolutely essential.

SKILLS:

Uses a variety of stationary and mobile radiation producing diagnostic equipment and mechanical accessories. Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials and devices.
