Job Details Description ️ Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor all plant systems including conveyors, dryers, screens, and mixing drums Control the blending and mixing of raw materials to produce asphalt to specified standards Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plant equipment Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or operational issues to minimize downtime Maintain accurate production and maintenance records Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company safety policies Coordinate with truck drivers and dispatch to ensure timely loading and delivery Assist with plant setup, shutdown, and cleaning procedures Operate heavy equipment such as loaders or skid steers as needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED required, technical training or certifications a plus Minimum 2 years of experience in asphalt plant operations or related field Strong mechanical skills and familiarity with industrial equipment Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and production specifications Basic computer skills for data entry and control systems Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs. Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required Preferred Skills Knowledge of asphalt mix designs and quality control procedures Experience with computerized plant control systems Familiarity with MSHA, OSHA, and environmental compliance standards Strong communication and teamwork skills Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
