Job Description

  • Prepress Operator (Label Production)
  • Job Description
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented
  • Prepress Operator
  • to support label production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on plate mounting, ink mixing, and production setup while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Perform prepress tasks including
  • plate mounting/demounting and plate management
  • + Mix and color match inks using
  • Pantone guides and measurement tools
  • + Prepare and issue materials (inks, laminates) using production systems + Support press operators with
  • setups, changeovers, and cleanup
  • + Monitor quality and production KPIs (waste, efficiency, output) + Maintain equipment, complete documentation, and follow safety procedures + Cross-train and assist in other production roles as needed
  • Qualifications
  • + Experience in
  • prepress, printing, or manufacturing
  • + Hands-on experience with
  • plates, inks, or production setup
  • + Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred
  • + Label or packaging industry experience + Familiarity with
  • DSI or similar systems
  • + Color matching tools (Pantone, spectro) and/or forklift experience

    • Pay and Benefits
    • The pay range for this position is $23.00
    • $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
