All-Star Films Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Sports Camera Operator to film approximately 9 high school varsity football games during the 2026 fall season. Games are primarily held on Thursday and Friday evenings from late August through early November in the Los Altos area and nearby cities. This is an excellent opportunity for freelance videographers, sports photographers, film students, or anyone with experience operating video cameras. Responsibilities Arrive one hour before kickoff to set up equipment. Film the entire football game (approximately 2-3 hours). Return home after the game and upload the raw game footage immediately. Monitor the upload until it has completed successfully. Maintain steady, professional game coverage throughout the event. Required Qualifications Own an HD or 4K video camera capable of recording 1080p at 60 fps to an SD card. with a lens suitable for filming football from the press box. Or own a DSLR, mirrorless, and camcorders with an appropriate zoom lens are all acceptable. Camera must have a clean HDMI output. Own a sturdy fluid-head tripod suitable for smooth panning during live play. Own Reliable transportation. Valid California driver's license and auto insurance Computer with a reliable internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps upload speed required) Ability to work evenings during football season.Preferred Qualifications Experience filming football or other sports.
