Los Angeles, CA Job Details Full-time $24 - $32 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Technical Proficiency Printing facility experience Full Job Description About the Role We're looking for a Print Production Assistant to support our Print Manager in day-to-day production operations. You'll be trained directly on our color management workflow, our RIP software environment, and the production standards that keep our large-format work on schedule and to spec. This is a hands-on role with real room to grow as you take on more responsibility. We need someone who already understands the print floor, print terminology, and print workflow, and who's ready to be trained on our specific tools and standards from there. What You'll Learn and Work On Color profiling and calibration workflows RIP software operation (Caldera and Onyx) G7-aligned color management practices Production scheduling and job queue support Quality control across substrates and output devices Real-time production troubleshooting What We Need You to Bring on Day One Hands-on experience working in a print production environment (large-format, commercial, sign shop, or similar; tell us where) Genuine intellectual curiosity and the ability to retain and apply technical training quickly Comfort with software-driven workflows (you don't need to know Caldera or Onyx specifically, but you should be someone who picks up new software systems without hand-holding) Strong attention to detail, since color and print quality tolerances leave little room for error Reliability and follow-through Nice to Have (not required) Exposure to G7 certification concepts or color theory Familiarity with Caldera or Onyx RIP software Prior color profiling experience
