Czarnowski is one of the four studios of the Czarnowski Collective. It combines operations, strategy, design, and fabrication to create exhibits and events that engage communities, generate brand enthusiasm, and educate consumers. The Purpose:
We are looking for a Pre-Press Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for both graphics prepress and production, ensuring files are properly prepared for high-quality print output while supporting production as needed. This position plays a critical role in setting the foundation for successful printing by ensuring the proper format, appearance, and layout of text and images before full-size production begins. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, technically skilled, and able to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
The Job:
Prepare and review print files to ensure they meet quality and production standards Set up files for production across various pieces of equipment Troubleshoot prepress issues and resolve production-related file concerns Ensure all project files are complete, current, and stored properly Assist with production processes when needed to support workflow and deadlines Work with wide format and flatbed printers, CNC laser equipment, and digital cutting/finishing tables as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production environment Complete all tasks professionally, accurately, and within required timelines
The Person:
College Degree or equivalent experience of at least 5 years Highly proficient with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat Experience with Onyx Rip preferred Strong verbal, written, and phone communication skills Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage multiple projects simultaneously Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Able to work effectively both independently and within a team environment in a fast-paced setting Exhibit, tradeshow, or sign shop experience preferred Knowledge of Excel and Smartsheet is a plus Experience with wide format and flatbed printers, CNC laser equipment, and digital cutting/finishing tables is a plus Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
Colorado Salary and Benefit Statement:
The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for the role. Any salary offered is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience.
Colorado Salary Range:
$24-$28/hour This position is eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time off benefits and participation in the Company's 401(k) plan.
