Automated Publishing Technician

Responsibilities Prepare and organize documents for scanning. Scan documents at 300 DPI and perform OCR conversion to searchable PDFs with 98% accuracy. Index documents using required metadata fields. Validate and upload digitized files into customer systems. Operate high-speed scanners, CD/DVD/Blu-Ray duplicators, paper cutters, and bindery equipment. Perform stapling, folding, punching, binding, collating, packaging, and shipping tasks. Maintain production records and assist with reporting and administrative duties. Provide customer service support via phone, email, and in person.

Qualifications Proficiency with:

Windows 10/11 Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint) Adobe Acrobat DC Professional Experience with document scanning, OCR, and indexing processes. Ability to operate bindery and finishing equipment. Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. Must be able to pass a secret clearance Must be able to work onsite in Jacksonville, Florida Preferred Experience Document management, publishing, print production, or records digitization experience preferred.
