  • Job Description This position is for an onsite customer dedicated position in the Jacksonville, FL area.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional on-site service and support for our customers' printer equipment. You will diagnose, repair, maintain, and install a variety of printer models, ensuring they operate at peak performance and meet customer needs. MUST be able to repair, not just troubleshoot, printers/MFP.
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to customer service calls, adhering to established SLAs (Service Level Agreements). Diagnose and repair printer issues efficiently, ensuring all equipment functions within published specifications. Maintain a well-organized schedule to manage workload and meet customer deadlines. Communicate effectively with customers throughout the service process, keeping them informed of call acceptance, estimated arrival time (ETA), service progress, and resolution. Address customer questions and concerns related to their printer devices. Provide thorough training to customers on proper printer usage and features. Perform repairs and maintenance procedures according to company standards, completing all service call documents before leaving the customer site. Follow established administrative procedures for data collection and reporting, including call details, status updates, closure summaries, parts management, and tracking. Manage local inventory of printer parts, maintaining accurate records of levels and transactions. Project a professional image through appropriate attire, communication skills, and personal presentation.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in field service or customer support. Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems. 2-5 years of experience servicing printers, hard copy devices, or imaging equipment. Excellent driving record and a valid driver's license. Proficient administrative and computer skills. Ability to safely lift and maneuver equipment up to 60 lbs.
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
