Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Camera Operator to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, unscripted environments and knows how to anticipate moments before they happen. You'll be responsible for capturing high-quality footage that feels authentic, dynamic, and story-driven. Key Responsibilities Operate professional video cameras for reality TV productions (handheld, shoulder-mounted, gimbal, etc.) Capture unscripted moments with strong framing, focus, and composition Collaborate closely with producers and directors to execute creative vision Adjust quickly to changing environments, lighting conditions, and story developments Follow cast members and action in real-time without disrupting natural flow Maintain and manage camera equipment, lenses, batteries, and media Ensure footage meets technical and creative standards Assist with basic lighting and audio setups when needed Qualifications Proven experience as a camera operator in reality TV, documentaries, or live productions Strong understanding of camera systems (Sony, Blackmagic, Canon or similar) Ability to shoot handheld for extended periods Excellent instincts for storytelling and capturing unscripted moments Comfortable working long hours, nights, weekends, and on-location shoots Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to stay discreet and professional around talent Preferred Qualifications Experience working on reality TV shows or digital content platforms Knowledge of basic lighting and audio recording techniques Familiarity with file management and media workflows Ability to travel on short notice What We're Looking For Hustle mentality and adaptability Creative eye with attention to detail Someone who understands culture and energy—not just technical shooting Calm under pressure and quick decision-maker Compensation Day Rate - based on experience How to Apply Please submit: Resume Reel or portfolio (required) Brief note about your experience in reality or unscripted content
