401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s): Do you currently hold a Kyocera or Epson factory certification as a service technician? If not, would you be willing to complete the required certification and training? Have you ever worked for an MSP or in an environment where you were responsible for supporting printers as part of a customer's overall IT environment? If so, what did that involve? A printer is connected to a customer's network but users are unable to print. How would you troubleshoot the issue? Walk me through the steps you would take to determine whether the problem is the printer, network, print server, or user's computer. How comfortable are you working with IP addresses, DHCP, and static IP assignments? For example, if we install a new network printer, how would you determine what IP address it should use and make sure it doesn't conflict with another device? When installing or troubleshooting a printer on an MSP-managed network, you may need to work with firewalls, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, print servers, or security policies. How comfortable are you troubleshooting those types of issues, and when would you know it's time to escalate the issue to the MSP's network or systems team? Tell me about a time you had to troubleshoot a printer problem that turned out not to be a printer problem. How did you identify the actual cause and resolve it?
