Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Print Shop Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in print production processes and will be responsible for operating and maintaining various printing equipment. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality control, and the ability to work collaboratively. Duties Operate printing presses, ensuring optimal performance and quality output. Implement quality control measures throughout the printing process to meet client specifications. Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure accurate representation of designs during production. Perform copying/printing/finishing of digital print and finish work, binding and lamination. Perform cutting, install, placement of vinyl print material. Customer Service - answering phones, greeting customers, entering data into system for quotes, email correspondence. Able to lift 50lbs. Skills Familiarity with prepress procedures and quality control standards in print production. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality printed materials. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiar with technology and able to adapt and absorb training of production machinery to work independently. Ability to attend to customers. Attention to organization and cleanliness of their work space. Working smarter not harder.
