Eligible on day one Nikel Precision Group is hiring an Industrial 3D Printing Technician to operate and support an
EOS M 290
metal 3D printer used to produce precision components. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, and motivated to learn advanced manufacturing. Previous 3D printing or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. The current production process is established and is not expected to change frequently. industrial metal 3D printer Prepare the machine, materials, build plates, and production documentation Monitor builds, machine conditions, alarms, and process performance Follow established startup, shutdown, cleaning, and maintenance procedures Safely handle metal powders and production materials Assist with powder loading, recovery, screening, depowdering, and post-build activities Inspect finished parts using visual and basic measuring methods Complete production, quality, maintenance, and traceability records Identify and report machine, material, process, or quality concerns Maintain a clean and organized work area Cross-train on other manufacturing equipment as opportunities become available Required Qualifications Strong attention to detail Dependable attendance and work habits Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to follow written work instructions and established procedures Basic computer skills Ability to maintain accurate documentation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to safely work around production equipment and metal powders while wearing required PPE Preferred Experience Industrial or consumer 3D printing CNC machining or machine operation Manufacturing or production Automated equipment, robotics, or mechanical assembly Quality inspection or basic blueprint reading Calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other measuring equipment Technical school, vocational training, or military technical experience
