Sheetfed Lithography Press Specialist (KBA 105/106) Meyers Printing - 3.9 Minneapolis, MN Job Details Full-time $34 - $40 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Printing facility experience Full Job Description Day in the life It's Friday at 6:00 a.m. in Minneapolis, MN, 55428. You arrive, review the job ticket, and ready the KBA 106. Plates are locked in, stock is verified, and you fine-tune ink/water balance before the first pull. Throughout the weekend, you'll keep the press humming—catching color shifts, troubleshooting, and collaborating with production to hit deadlines without sacrificing quality or safety. Weekend Shift:
Fri-Sat-Sun, 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours, plus a weekend shift differential. What you'll do Set up, operate, and maintain sheetfed lithographic presses, including KBA 105 and 106 6- and 7-color 40-inch machines. Continuously monitor press performance to maintain color consistency and print clarity. Dial in precise ink and water balance for optimal results. Perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete minor repairs to minimize downtime. Coordinate with the production team to meet schedule and throughput goals. Keep your area organized and compliant with 5S and safety expectations. Follow all safety protocols and company policies. What you bring High school diploma or equivalent; additional printing/technical training is a plus. 3+ years of experience operating lithographic sheetfed presses. Solid grasp of offset lithography, press mechanics, and print workflows. Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Comfort working independently and within a team environment. Clear communication skills and a positive, solutions-first mindset. Flexibility for overtime or schedule adjustments when needed.
