Candidate must be skilled and detail-oriented, and excel in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
(including the following but not limited to) The Printing Plate Mounter is responsible for the accurate placement and bonding of flexographic printing plates to a carrier sheet, which will be placed on a corrugated press.
Essential Functions:
Review orders and all supporting information to assemble the materials required to complete the order. Accurately position and seal the plates to the appropriate carrier sheet. Visually inspect the finished plates for any defects or deviations from standards or customer specifications. Notify the appropriate personnel immediately whenever an issue is discovered. Evaluate the operational state of the equipment used and ensure it is adjusted, aligned, and maintained properly. Accurate data collection of time and materials. Follow all safety procedures. Understand and participate in quality checks as required. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping in work area. Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Strength and mobility to perform the duties described above, i.e., standing, moving, lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling. Perform repetitive motions. Good visual acuity. Lift up to 65 pounds safely.
Schedule:
  • Full Time
  • Shift:
    Candidate will be hired with the understanding this will be a day shift until training is completed, and will move to a 2nd or 3rd shift.
