Prepress/Digital Printer Operator

Screen-Trans Development Corp - Moonachie , NJ Prepress/Digital Press Operator Screen-Trans Development Corp is a grand format soft signage company that has provided premium quality graphics to the industry for over 35 years. We are searching for a Prepress/Digital Press Operator to join our growing team. Candidate will be responsible for pre-flight, color correction, and digital printer operation. They must be detail-oriented and well-organized with proficiency in Adobe CC. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus. Must be able to multitask and adapt to changing situations.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Adobe CC a must (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) Knowledge in color theory and management Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Experience with Caldera and Ergosoft RIP Software a plus Ability to lift up to 50lbs Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in print environment Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Pre-flight customer supplied files (File quality, fonts, bleed, proofing, etc) Communicate with clients to resolve any issues or concerns Manipulate files to match supplied PMS, match prints, etc. Operate and maintain large format digital printers Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area Work with other departments to maintain proper workflow
