Temp-to-Hire Our client, an established commercial printing operation in White Plains, NY, is seeking an experienced Prepress Technician / Digital Press Operator. This hands-on role combines prepress file preparation, graphic production, and digital press operation. The ideal candidate has commercial printing experience, strong file-preparation skills, and the ability to manage projects accurately from prepress through production. Responsibilities Review, preflight, and prepare customer artwork for production Check files for sizing, resolution, fonts, bleeds, color, and print readiness Modify layouts and artwork to meet production specifications Troubleshoot and correct file issues before printing Operate digital printing equipment and monitor output quality Prepare files for direct-to-film (DTF) and screen-printing applications Perform color adjustments and production quality checks Manage multiple jobs and meet production deadlines Work closely with production staff to ensure accurate, efficient output= Qualifications Experience in prepress, digital printing, or commercial print production Strong knowledge of print-ready file preparation Graphic design/artwork modification experience Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills High school diploma or equivalent required DTF/screen-printing experience is a plus; screen-printing training is available Why Consider This Opportunity? $28/hour with increase to $30/hour upon permanent hire Full benefits upon permanent hire Consistent Monday-Friday daytime schedule Opportunity to expand skills across multiple print technologies Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today.
