Wide Format Print Operator Pay:
 $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Wide Format Print Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating wide format printing equipment, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining efficient production workflows. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced printing technologies and contribute to various projects including print advertising, signage, and custom graphics. Candidates with experience in wide format printing, prepress, color management, and graphic design are highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain wide format printing equipment, including EFI machinery.
  • Prepare digital files using layout design, typography, and color management techniques to ensure print accuracy.
  • Perform prepress tasks such as file setup, proofing, and color calibration using Adobe Creative Suite and other design software.
  • Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to ensure color consistency, sharpness, and overall print quality.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to printing equipment or materials to minimize downtime.
  • Assist with material handling using forklifts or other machinery as needed for large-format media.
  • Collaborate with the design team on layout adjustments and print specifications for various projects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards. Experience
  • Proven experience in wide format printing or related manufacturing environments is required.
  • Proven experience in color correction software tools is required.
  • Familiarity with wide format printing, prepress processes, and color management techniques.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experience with quality control procedures in a production setting.
  • Ability to operate machinery such as forklifts safely is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
