Shift Pay:

$20.00 to $25.00/hour, depending on experience We are hiring a Plate Maker for a pre-press department in Warwick, RI. This is an office-based role that supports the printing process by preparing layouts and plates for production. The right person will be comfortable working with artwork, layouts, and computer-based pre-press systems. This role is a good fit for someone with pre-press, platemaking, or print production support experience who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

Review work orders and prepare layouts based on job specifications. Create, update, and organize files for platemaking and production. Apply layout details such as masking, color bars, guides, and plate information. Launch files to platemaking equipment and support plate output. Check proofs and layouts for accuracy before production. Make minor corrections or updates as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous pre-press, platemaking, or print production support experience is preferred. Comfortable working with computer-based layouts and digital files. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to review proofs and job instructions carefully for accuracy. Prior experience in printing, packaging, or a related production environment is helpful.
