Job Description

•Looking for experienced operator in televising storm and sanitary lines. Utility and Environmental Services, Inc,(UES) the underground specialists, have been serving the underground utility industry in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex for over 20 years. During this time - through sewer and storm drain studies, construction acceptance service work - UES has established an excellent working relationship with contractors, engineers and municipalities. We provide state-of-the-art equipment and key personnel to ensure that every day and every job is as productive and professional as possible.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Use camera equipment to complete inspections and testing of underground piping from the street level at customer's location. These inspections are used to assess the sewer/storm utilities for damage and construction defects. Work on a two man crew. Prior experience is an advantage, but not required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Operate the remote controlled sewer camera. Understanding of the electronic and mechanical processes cameras use to film or to capture photos. Providing useful and detailed reports. Work with supervisors, clients, peers and home owners Providing customers with updated information. Maintain, adjust, troubleshoot and perform authorized field repairs to camera's, robots and ancillary equipment such as, cables, connectors and reels Maintain a clean and organized working environment within the TV truck including fluid levels and service condition of tools and equipment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(Based upon level of position, not all may apply) Retain a valid driver's license Basic computer skills Must be reliable and able to work in a team environment Excellent reading skills to understand and comprehend all construction warning signs Great attention to safety Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to work safely around open manholes. Ocasionally will be lifting, pushing, pulling or carry heavy objects; using abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support. Must have good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination and balance. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Must be willing to work flexible hours. Holidays are paid, Paid Vacation time & PTO Company sponsored training Prior experience with sewer is a plus, including utility work, pipefitters.
