Pre Press Operator We are looking for a Pre Press Operator to be trained in the preparation of flexographic plates and learn the processes involved in making, cutting, demounting, store and stack, clean the Twinlock sleeves, etc. Also you will be required to perform quality inspections on the plates. After you develop these skills, you will have the opportunity to learn plate mounting and start a rotation with the other makers in the preparation phase of the job. What you will do Key responsibilities include: Making, Cutting, and Demounting of flexographic Plates Sorting and Stacking flexographic Plates Quality Inspection of Flexographic Plates Data Entry Organizing Flexographic Plates Cleaning and Storing TwinLock Sleeves Cross train in plate cutting, plate making, and plate mounting Perform Autonomous Maintenance activities (cleaning and lubrication activities to maintain equipment) and involvement in World Class Manufacturing teams and analysis. We believe you have High School Diploma or GED Preferred Prior production/manufacturing machine operation experience preferred Basic machine maintenance skills Quality inspection and machine systems handling Intermediate computer skills Dependability and reliability Eager and committed to grow in a company that practices world class manufacturing in every way, every day. Basic math skills, basic reading comprehension, basic understanding of Microsoft Excel Ability to read, understand and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, standard operating procedures, and World Class Manufacturing processes
Shift Schedule:
12-hour Day Shift (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM)
Work Pattern:
Rotating weekly schedule, working every other weekend.
