This position demands a high level of precision, technical troubleshooting capabilities, and a keen eye for detail. Successful applicants will be self-motivated individuals who excel in a high-speed production setting and demonstrate a strong dedication to safety, quality standards, and collaborative efforts. You will play a vital role in supporting our expanding manufacturing division as we continue to broaden our business reach. Primary Duties Configure and manage a semi-automatic graphic screen printing press without direct supervision. Maintain high production standards by resolving technical issues and fine-tuning mechanical press settings to ensure consistent registration, color accuracy, and speed. Manage various print-related chemicals, inks, and standard plastic substrates effectively. Ensure color uniformity is strictly upheld across all production batches to deliver high-quality results. Oversee the functionality of ultra-violet (UV) curing systems to ensure that all ink is properly set. Help drive operational success by identifying process improvements and communicating potential risks to relevant team members. Contribute to the company's financial health by maintaining equipment properly and utilizing resources efficiently. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by adhering to safety protocols and reporting any hazards or incidents immediately. Foster productive professional connections with vendors, colleagues, and external partners. Protect sensitive corporate data by upholding strict confidentiality standards at all times. Candidate Qualifications Essential Requirements Must be at least 18 years old. Possess a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent professional experience. Have a foundational understanding of the printing sector. Demonstrate strong computer literacy and an eagerness to acquire new technical proficiencies. Exhibit exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity in your work. Show a self-directed work ethic with the capacity to contribute to team goals while working autonomously. Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems effectively to meet tight production schedules. Possess solid verbal and written English communication skills. Display cultural awareness to thrive within our diverse workforce and community. Maintain flexibility in your schedule to support business operations, including potential nights, weekends, or holidays. Successfully complete a background screening process. Preferred Qualifications At least two years of hands-on experience running a graphic screen printing press. Proven ability to use testing and measurement tools like spectrophotometers, densitometers, or calipers.
