Press Operator

Job Overview Lily and Sparrow is seeking an experienced Flatbed Printer & Cutter Operator to join our team in Winneconne, WI. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for operating our Vanguard flatbed printer and Kongsberg Precision Cutting Solutions flatbed cutter to produce high-quality printed and cut products. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, and thrives in a hands-on production environment. Duties Operate and maintain the Vanguard flatbed UV printer to produce high-quality print output Set up, operate, and maintain the Kongsberg Precision Cutting Solutions flatbed cutter Load and unload media/substrates safely and efficiently Perform pre-press tasks including file setup, color calibration, and job preparation Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, troubleshooting any defects Manage production workflow and prioritize jobs to meet deadlines Maintain an organized and safe work environment Collaborate with team members and communicate job status to supervisors Requirements 3+ years of hands-on experience operating flatbed printers and/or flatbed cutters Experience with Vanguard flatbed printers preferred Experience with Kongsberg cutting systems preferred Strong understanding of print production processes, substrates, and color management Ability to read and interpret production files and job specs Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform basic equipment maintenance Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with wide-format printing software and RIP software Familiarity with digital design files (PDF, AI, EPS) Prior experience in a sign, display, or print production environment
