Job Description

Press Brake Operator Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC press brake equipment, interpreting blueprints, and producing high-quality fabricated metal components while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. Select the appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings for each job. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and dimensional requirements. Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working condition. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure production goals are met. General Requirements In-depth understanding of press brake components and machine operation. Computer skills required to operate CNC press brake software. Ability to remain standing and perform repetitive movements throughout the work shift. Strong arithmetic skills, including measurements and machine setting calculations. Ability to move heavy or large sheet metal materials safely. Strong attention to detail to monitor the forming process and inspect finished parts. Knowledge of manufacturing health and safety regulations. Familiarity with blueprints and technical specification terminology. Essential Qualifications Proficiency with mathematics, including fraction and decimal conversions. Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately. Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, tape measures, and micrometers. Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC press brake machinery (such as Amada, Trumpf, Cincinnati, or similar equipment). Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Commitment to following OSHA, ISO, and facility-specific safety standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and lockout/tagout procedures. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team. Reliable attendance and a commitment to producing quality work.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
