In this role, you will be responsible for operating press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that fabricated parts meet strict quality standards and technical specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety protocols, contributing to our goal of delivering high-quality metal fabrication products. Responsibilities Operate press brake machines to accurately bend and form sheet metal according to detailed technical drawings and specifications. Set up tooling, calibrate machine parameters, and perform routine adjustments to ensure optimal performance. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols to produce precise components. Conduct quality inspections using measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to verify dimensions. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and protocols during machine operation. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on press brake equipment to minimize downtime. Collaborate with team members on production schedules, ensuring timely completion of orders while maintaining quality standards. Requirements Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Familiarity with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programming and setup is preferred. Knowledge of safety standards related to machine operation and manufacturing processes. Ability to use measuring instruments for precision measurement and quality control purposes. Basic understanding of shop math, including measurements, angles, and tolerances necessary for forming operations. Experience with other forming machines, CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, or CNC milling is a plus. Mechanical aptitude combined with good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
