Job Description

Adecco is assisting their client in the City of Whittier, CA hire a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend, shape, and cut metal and other materials according to precise specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrication drawings, machine operations, and safety procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate press brake machinery to fabricate metal components per job specifications and blueprints.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine machine settings and production requirements.
  • Select and install appropriate tooling and dies for the job.
  • Perform machine adjustments to ensure proper bending angles, tolerances, and dimensions.
  • Inspect completed workpieces using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning, lubricating, and reporting any mechanical issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere strictly to safety procedures and company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals and quality standards are met.
  • Other duties may be assigned
Required Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum [1-3] years of experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools and perform basic math.
  • Knowledge of materials (e.g., sheet, steel, aluminum, stainless) and their bending properties.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to lift up to [50] lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work [day shifts, weekends, overtime] as needed.

Pay Details:
