We are looking for a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team in Macon, Georgia. As a Press Brake Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and precise bending of metal components. Key Responsibilities:
Press Brake Operation:
Set up and operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal and structural shapes according to specifications.
Machine Setup:
Prepare the press brake machine for production runs, including selecting appropriate tooling and programming.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy.
Material Handling:
Load and unload materials onto the press brake machine, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on the equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.
Safety:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Record Keeping:
Maintain production logs, records, and documentation accurately.
Teamwork:
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and resolve any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role. Knowledge of press brake machinery and the ability to set up and program machines. Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work. Basic math and measurement skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Safety-conscious and a commitment to following safety procedures. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy materials. Reliable and punctual.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position located in Macon, Georgia. Overtime may be required as production demands. Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery.
