Press Brake Operator — Build Precision. Shape the Future. What You'll Do As a Press Brake Operator II , you'll be a key contributor in producing high‑precision sheet metal components. You'll own your workstation, run complex setups, and ensure every part meets exacting standards. Set up and operate CNC press brakes to produce high‑quality parts with accuracy and consistency. Perform precise inspections using calipers, height gauges, protractors, and other measurement tools. Troubleshoot tooling, machine, and process issues to keep production flowing smoothly. Create and adjust CNC programs to support new and repeat jobs. Plan setups that optimize workflow and minimize downtime. Apply advanced bending knowledge including springback, material behavior, compound tolerances, and forming sequences. Maintain equipment through routine checks, cleaning, and safety verification. Work independently while consistently meeting quality, efficiency, and PPM targets. Cross‑train across multiple workstations to expand your skill set and versatility. What You Bring You're a skilled fabricator who takes pride in precision, problem‑solving, and craftsmanship. 2+ years of press brake or metal fabrication experience Proficiency with CNC press brake setup and operation Ability to read blueprints , interpret tolerances, and understand bend allowances Strong measurement skills using calipers, gauges, and rulers Experience with tooling selection , hemming, offsets, and I‑axis blocks Ability to create or modify CNC programs Solid troubleshooting instincts and a commitment to quality Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced production environment Bonus points if you've worked with Amada, Accurpress, Cincinnati , or similar machines.
