Job Description
LiquidSpring LLC develops and produces next generation vehicle suspension systems for emergency vehicle, bus, and motorhome markets. Our patented next generation suspension systems replace traditional vehicle springs and shock absorbers by utilizing a compressible fluid as the spring medium along with electronic controls that provide superior, combined ride and handling performance as well as automatic vehicle leveling. The Company is seeking highly motivated individuals with strong, stand-out attributes to join our team and contribute to the growth of our products in vehicle markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Laser Table / Press Brake / Saw Operator. This position will be trained to operate the laser table, press brake and saws While operating the laser table the operator will be required to:- Upload programmed nest per work instructions
- Load sheet material, unload skeletons, operate 5 ton overhead bridge & 1 ton jib crane
- Unload cut parts and organize according to kit requirements
- Inspect parts for cut quality and correct size
- Correct any parts that may not meet quality expectations
- Maintain equipment by doing daily & weekly TPM's as trained, ensuring a safe & clean work area While operating the press brake the operator will be required to:
- Upload programmed bend files per work instructions
- Form parts to print and inspect as required
- Make adjustments to control settings as required to produce good parts
- Set up jobs by changing over dies and punches many times per day
- Organize parts with appropriate kits going to the weld department
- Maintain equipment by doing daily & weekly TPM's as trained Education and/or
Work Experience Requirements:
- Must have strong math skills
- Must have the ability to visualize 3D geometry
- Must be able to interpret engineering prints
- Must be able to use measuring instruments and accurately measure to .001" and .25 deg.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Demonstrates computer skills and aptitude
- Preferred background in working with sheet metal
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs.
