Shift Brake Press Operator Department:

CNC Fabricator Reports To:

2 Shift Lead Supervisor Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings. Use measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy of dimensions. Select appropriate tooling, dies, and punches for each job. Clock In/Out of jobs in JobBoss. Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines. Performing duties in a safe an efficient manner with proper use of PPEo Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Promptly report safety issues and concerns to supervisor Work with Brake Press Supervisor to achieve scheduling goals and requirements Represent CD Custom ethics, values, and adherence to company policies at all times Follow procedures for notification of absenceo Absent Reporting Line (316)-804-4520, then press 1o Time Off Request form submitted in advance of planned absence Experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Proficiency in using various hand tools and measuring instruments. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and materials. Familiarity with programming press brake machines. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Work 4:30 pm to 3:00 am Monday through Thursday. Experience a plus with CNC brakes and lasers. Brake operators $17 +
