Central Plains Steel, a division of Feralloy , is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to operate press brake equipment and produce precision metal parts while supporting overall plant operations.

Job:
Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Job Function:
Operate press brake machines to bend and form metal parts to specifications Read blueprints, work orders, and instructions to ensure accuracy Set up materials, tooling, and machine settings Inspect parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) Perform in-process and final quality checks Make adjustments and troubleshoot minor machine issues Move materials using forklifts or cranes and assist with general shop duties Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Required Skills:
Valid driver's license 0-5 years of relevant experience (press brake or manufacturing preferred) Ability to read and interpret blueprints Basic math and measurement skills Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Schedule :
Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00
PM Pay:
$17-$20/hr (DOE)
Preferred:
Press brake or metal fabrication experience High School Diploma or GED Note to
