CNC Press Brake Operator Day Shift
  • 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Afternoon Shift
  • 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Midnight Shift
  • 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Train Days move to Midnights)
Rate:
$20.00/hour + $2.00/hour shift premium = $22.00/hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate large or small ton presses, punch presses, brake press and/or CNC press brake, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently.
Job Duties:
Obtain the required fixtures, die and materials needed Set up, operate, adjust and clean the press Inspect the parts for first piece approval Measure work carefully by using precision tools Run prototypes based upon directions and following job instructions including blueprints, sketches, models, or other visual aids verifying conformance of work piece to specifications Recognize typical problems in parts and equipment when they occur, performing tool changeover and adjustments, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
Job Skills:
Operate large or small ton presses, punch presses, brake press and/or CNC press brake, end finish machines, hand grinding tools, saws, micrometer, squares, calipers, forklift truck, telephone, computer and related technology safely and effectively Produce (quality and quantity) parts that meet specifications and expected output levels Visually identify and correct deficiencies in parts produced Work from oral instructions, penciled layouts, blueprints, sketches, and by reference to parts Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service work efficiently in a fast paced manufacturing environment with the flexibility to prioritize duties and multi-task at different levels
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, bend, stopp, etc for 8+ hours a day Contract-to-direct role after 30-60 days
