Job Description

🔧 Press Brake Operator 1st, 2nd, or Weekend Shift | Job Shop Environment Are you a skilled Press Brake Operator who enjoys variety, hands-on work, and running quality parts? Join a growing metal fabrication shop where your skills matter, your days stay interesting, and there's room to grow. We're looking for a motivated operator to set up, program, and run CNC press brakes in a fast-paced job shop producing short‑run and custom sheet metal parts. 🛠 What You'll Be Doing Set up and operate Cincinnati and Strippit (LVD‑controlled) CNC press brakes Read and interpret blueprints, routings, and method layouts Plan proper forming sequences and select/align press brake tooling Program controllers for ram pressure, clearances, and backgauges Perform first‑piece inspections and verify dimensions using calipers and measuring tools Apply sheet metal math (bend allowances, dimensions, layouts) Document in‑process inspections and maintain ISO quality standards Adapt to quick part changes and short production runs Support other fabrication tasks (turret punches or grinding) during downtime Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace ✅ What We're Looking For 1+ year of press brake experience in a production or job shop setting 1+ year in a metal fabrication environment Hands‑on experience with CNC press brakes (Cincinnati preferred) Ability to perform full machine setup , tooling selection, and programming Solid blueprint reading and inspection skills Comfortable using calipers and precision measuring tools Willingness to be flexible and cross‑trained as needed Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality ⭐ Nice to Have Experience with Cincy controllers and LVD controllers Experience as a sheet metal fabricator Experience forming .18 and .10 gauge aluminum & stainless steel Familiarity with ISO Quality Management Systems Team‑oriented mindset in a job shop environment đŸ’„

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
