We are in search of an experienced Stamping Press Brake Operator to set up and operate equipment in our Blaine, MN facility. The Press Brake Operator will play a key role in forming and bending precision sheet metal parts according to customer blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate has multiple years of press brake setup and operation experience, preferably in a metal stamping or precision metal fabrication environment, and demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. The Stamping Press Brake Operator is a full-time, direct hire position in Blaine, MN.
Perform Complete Setups on CNC & Hydraulic Press Brakes, Including Selecting, Installing & Aligning Upper & Lower Dies, Tooling & Back Gauges Read & Interpret Complex Engineering Blueprints, Shop Travelers & CAD Drawings to Calculate Bend Allowances, Forming Angles & Tonnage Adjustments Safely & Efficiently Operate Press Brakes to Produce Precision Metal Components Within Exact Tolerances Perform First-Article Inspections & Conduct Regular Quality Checks Using Precision Tools Such as Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges & Protractors Monitor Machine Performance & Material Quality During Production Runs, Making Tooling & Program Adjustments as Needed Deburr, Inspect, Count & Organize Finished Parts For Secondary Processing or Final Shipment Perform Routine Preventive Maintenance, Machine Cleaning & Tooling Upkeep Maintain Complete & Accurate Production Logs, Quality Reports & Job Travelers Maintain a Clean, Organized Environment & Safe Working Conditions at All Times Must Adhere to
All Safety Protocols, Machine Guarding & PPE Requirements Stamping Press Brake Operator Job Requirements & Working Conditions:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Technical Certification or Relevant Manufacturing Qualifications Preferred 2+ Years of Press Brake Setup & Operation Experience Required; Metal Stamping Facility Experience Preferred Strong Knowledge of Standard Tooling, Die Selection & Metal Bending Physics (Air Bending, Bottoming) Must be Able to Read & Interpret GD&T, Technical Blueprints & Shop Travelers Proficient in the Use of Precision Measuring Tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Protractors) Practical Shop Math Skills Required for Calculating Bend Deductions & Material Thickness Allowances Ability to Stand for 10-Hour Shifts & Lift Up to 50 lbs
Periodically Have Consistent Punctual Attendance Required Excellent Organizational, Troubleshooting & Communication Skills Company Hiring Requirements:
