Position Summary:

The Press Brake operator's primary responsibility is programming the CNC press brake and forming custom parts. Attention to details is critical for this position.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• CNC Press brake operation Verify bendability of parts with provided software Program CNC press brake for a variety of standard and custom parts Bend and verify accuracy of parts produced Organize parts in various job pallets to streamline welding process Ensure all equipment is properly set-up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use. Operate forklift, if required and trained. Monitor equipment and request maintenance when required.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Will be required to cross-train in other areas of the shop. Will be trained and required to operate other machinery such as CNC router, CNC laser, Surface finishing machine. Will be cross trained in assembly and testing of custom material handling systems Required to have proper and accurate entry into the time and attendance system. Weld clean weldments with passivating equipment. Build pallets/crates according to prints.

Working Conditions:

This position works in a production environment. Safety equipment must be worn when working with equipment in the shop. Bending, lifting and pushing up to 70 pounds is required.
