Job Title:
Press Brake Operator Job Description Join a dynamic architectural metals company and take on the role of a Press Brake Operator in a close-knit shop environment. You will be responsible for running a press brake, inspecting parts, and working with materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and regular steel. This position also involves setting up jobs, operating machines, making tool changes, calibrating equipment, and potentially running a punch press. Your role will include performing general maintenance on press brakes as needed. Responsibilities Set up and operate press brakes, ensuring accurate calibration each morning. Inspect parts for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments. Work with stainless steel, aluminum, and regular steel materials. Perform general maintenance on press brakes as required. Potentially operate a punch press. Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to execute fabrication tasks. Essential Skills Experience with press brakes, specifically Accurpress, or similar brands. Ability to read blueprints and drawings. Minimum of 1 year of press brake experience. Proficiency in machine operation and fabrication. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in structural metals preferred. Familiarity with machine software and programming. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
