Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and maintain press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal per customer drawings and specifications. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine the correct press brake settings, tooling, and bending procedures. Perform machine adjustments and tooling changes as needed to ensure precision and quality of fabricated parts. Monitor the machine during operation to ensure proper functioning, adjust settings as necessary, and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company standards. Communicate effectively with team members, engineers, and supervisors to ensure production goals are met. Assist in the maintenance and minor repairs of press brake machines to ensure optimal performance. Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Strong knowledge of press brake operation, machine setup, and maintenance. Familiarity with sheet metal forming processes and materials. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.). Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery and tooling. Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or related training is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with various press brake models and programming software. Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience in a precision machining or fabrication shop.
Pay:
$17.00 - $23.00 per hour
