Job Description
Our client in Freehold, NJ, is seeking a Direct Hire Press Brake Operator .
Pay rate:
$20-$23/HR (DOE)Responsibilities:
Set up, load, and run press brakes and other metalworking gear safely. Read blueprints and engineering drawings to handle both simple and complex bending jobs. Machine setups, including custom punch tweaks and specialized tooling combinations. Check parts with micrometers, calipers, and gauges throughout your shift for quality. Handle basic routine maintenance to keep the machines running smoothly. Requirements At least 2 years in manufacturing, with 1+ year specifically operating a press brake. Hands-on experience with press brakes or metal folding equipment. Comfortable reading and working off technical blueprints and spec sheets. Skilled with basic precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.Benefits:
