Job Description
Description As a CNC Machine Operator, you will operate and support CNC fiber laser and CNC press brake equipment to produce precision cut and formed sheet metal parts. This is a hands-on role focused on machine setup, operation, inspection, and material handling. You will work closely with team leads, supervisors, and department managers to ensure jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and to customer specifications. Why SendCutSend? What you'll do: Set up, operate, and monitor CNC fiber lasers and CNC press brakes Load material and unload finished parts from machines Verify correct programs, tooling, and material prior to running jobs Perform machine startup, shutdown, and routine daily maintenance Install and set up punches, dies, and job tooling as required Read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings for proper laser and brake setup Measure parts using gauges and inspection tools to verify angles, dimensions, and overall accuracy meet customer specifications Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet daily production goals and communicate issues or quality concerns as they arise Maintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with LEAN and 5S principles Assist with inventory of tooling such as punches and dies Perform other related duties as assigned
