The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machinery to fabricate metal components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of blueprints, and the ability to ensure high-quality production standards. Responsibilities Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape metal sheets according to design specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the necessary specifications for each project. Assemble and fabricate components as required, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards. Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required specifications. Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Operate forklifts safely for material handling as needed. Skills Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation. Experience with CNC operations is a plus. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication processes. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and welding processes is advantageous. Familiarity with electrical discharge machining (EDM) is beneficial but not required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality inspection practices. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
