In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to shape sheet metal with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that all fabricated parts meet strict quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality metal fabrication projects in a dynamic production environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines, ensuring accurate bending of sheet metal according to technical drawings and specifications Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine proper machine setup and operation procedures Use measuring instruments and precision measurement tools to verify dimensions and ensure quality control throughout the fabrication process Adjust machine parameters and tooling to achieve desired bend angles and tolerances, maintaining optimal machine performance Perform routine maintenance, safety checks, and troubleshooting on press brake equipment to minimize downtime Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving CNC laser cutting, CNC programming, or other machining processes as needed Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of hand tools, measuring instruments, and personal protective equipment Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately Proficiency in machine operation, including press brake machines and forming machines Skilled in measurement techniques using precision measuring instruments for quality inspection and measurement (shop math, basic math) Ability to operate forklifts safely when handling raw materials or finished parts Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments and adherence to safety protocols at all times Familiarity with welding, assembly processes, and the use of hand tools for metal fabrication tasks Mechanical aptitude combined with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and process improvement Join us in delivering top-tier metal fabrication solutions!
