Job Description
Press Brake Operator - Level I Full-Time | Hourly Join Our Team as a Press Brake Operator! We're looking for a motivated Press Brake Operator to join our production team. In this role, you'll assist with the set up, operation, and light maintenance of CNC and mechanical press brakes, helping produce carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum parts that meet customer drawings and quality specifications. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on manufacturing skills. What You'll Do Assist in operating production equipment to make assigned parts using CNC and mechanical press brakes and proper tooling Operate light metalworking machines such as shears, brakes, and punches — including CNC equipment — to cut, bend, punch, or shape sheet metal Notify your supervisor of any product discrepancies, machine malfunctions, or tooling issues Track time, quantity of parts made/scrapped, and materials used for each job Inspect parts and document findings on required paperwork Keep your work area safe, clean, and organized, including returning tools and samples to their proper place Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements What You Bring High school diploma or GED Prior experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment Clear oral and written communication skills Familiarity with company and OSHA safety requirements Ability to read customer drawings and understand tolerances Skill with measuring tools and gauges Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Understanding of machine/tooling purpose, capability, and function Ability to perform light machine/tooling maintenance Schedule 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts 1st
