Temp-to-Hire Position Overview People Source OKC is hiring an experienced Brake Press Operator for a busy manufacturing facility in Oklahoma City. We are seeking a highly skilled candidate who can step in and begin operating brake press equipment with little to no training. This position offers competitive pay based on experience and the opportunity for long-term employment. Job Responsibilities Set up and operate brake press machinery to bend, form, and shape metal components Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders Select and install appropriate tooling for production runs Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals Maintain a clean and safe work environment Requirements Previous brake press operating experience required Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable attendance and dependable transportation Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in a manufacturing environment Must be able to pass a drug screen Must be able to pass a background check Additional Information Immediate opening available Stable, long-term opportunity Overtime may be available based on production needs Opportunity for growth and advancement Important Note•Safety Sensitive Role This position is classified as Safety Sensitive under Oklahoma law (O.S. § 63-427.8).
