Job Description:

Spherion is looking for a detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various metal fabrication machines to create high-quality components for our industrial furnaces and ovens. This is a first-shift position in a steady, productive environment.

Responsibilities:

Set up and safely operate fabrication machinery, including:

Shear:

Cutting sheet metal to specific dimensions. Operating programmed equipment to create precise holes and shapes. Bending and forming metal parts according to blueprints. Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet exact specifications. Move, load, and unload metal sheets and finished components. Perform basic machine upkeep and keep the workspace clean and organized.

Education:

High School High School Diploma or GED Experience:

Must be able to read and use a tape measure with high accuracy. Must be able to comfortably lift 30-40 lbs. consistently throughout the shift. Experience with Shear, CNC Punch, or Press Brake machines is highly preferred. Strong attendance record and a commitment to working the full M-F schedule. Ability to follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.

Heavy Lifting (50+ lbs) Standing / Walking Bending / Stooping / Kneeling Pushing / Pulling Hot Environments Manual Dexterity PPE Required (Noise / Chemical / Dust)
