Press Brake Operator

Job Title:

Press Brake Operator Job Description The Press Brake Operator is responsible for transforming blueprints and work orders into high-quality parts. This involves selecting and uploading the appropriate program to the machine, setting up all necessary tooling, and inspecting the first part before proceeding with a full production run. The operator will work with various press brakes including Amada, Darleyt, and others, and may support other sheet metal areas as needed. Shift and Pay The role is from Monday to Thursday, 3:30pm to 1:30am, with overtime as needed. Training will be provided during day shifts.

Pay:

$20-$25/hr Responsibilities Select and upload programs based on blueprints and work orders. Set up tooling and inspect the first part for accuracy. Operate a variety of press brakes such as Amada and Darleyt. Support other sheet metal areas when required. Essential Skills Proficiency in press brake setup and operation. Precision measuring skills. Experience in quality inspection. Additional Skills & Qualifications Direct experience with press brakes is a major advantage. Mechanical aptitude and measuring skills. Work Environment The work takes place in a machine shop environment that is not climate controlled. It features various CNC mills, a sheet metal fabrication section with welding and other machinery, and includes overhead cranes and forklifts. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of York Haven, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
